She was born on the 20 of march 1955 in Prague, the Czech Republic. She studied bookbinding at Polygrafic High School in Prague. She worked at the Academy of Arts, Architekture and Design and taught bookbinding at the Aloys Klar High School in Prague. Now she dedikates full-time to working in her bindery in Prague. She makes leather and parchment bindings and bindings with her own marbled and othertechniques paper. She is a member of the Guild of Czech Bookbinders.

The bindery is situated in a tranquil zone near the historical centre of Prague. In summer you can see bookbinders working under a tall tree in the patio in front of bindery.
